Nappies and Formula Supplied
Yes nappies for our 6wks – 2yr olds are supplied. S26 formula is supplied however if your child requires different formula you will be required to supply it.
How do I enrol at a Play and Learn Child Care Centre?
Enrolment Step One
Contact the centre and make an appointment to see through the centre and meet educators. You are most welcome to drop in and visit but knowing you coming in advance helps us to organise our time to spend with you.

If this is your first time using formal care then you must register with Human Services. This will automatically check your families eligibility and determine how much and what payments you are eligible for. To register go to www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/enablers/claiming-child-care-benefit
Express Plus Centrelink mobile app
If you’re already receiving Family Tax Benefit for a child, you can claim Child Care Benefit for approved care as a fee reduction using the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. To use the app, you need to have a Centrelink online account linked to myGov.
Download the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app from the App Store or Google Play™.
If you’re already receiving Family Tax Benefit for a child, you can claim Child Care Benefit for approved care as a fee reduction by calling the Families line on 136150.
By post or in person
You can claim Child Care Benefit for approved care by completing the:
Claim for Approved Child Care payments form, if you want to receive Child Care Benefit for approved care as a fee reduction, or
Claim for Approved Child Care Payments – an annual lump sum payment of Child Care Benefit, and read the information booklet if you want to receive Child Care Benefit for approved care as a lump sum, or
Registration for formal enrolment – for families claiming Child Care Benefit as a lump sum payment form which will enable child care services to send attendance during the year before you submit your lump sum claim.

Fees and Benefits
What are the costs?
6hr Session – 9:00am to 3:00pm – $100/day
9hr Session – 8:00am to 5:00pm – $100/day
12hr Session – 6:30am to 6:30pm – $100/day
This fee structure will remain the same until our review in January 2021.
If a child is absent for one day at a time due to illness, your gap fee is payable for that day.
Holiday Rates can be applied when you take holidays, providing that you advise the service of your upcoming holiday and that your fees are up to date. The rate is no gap for two weeks of your usual booked days. For eg. If your child attends two days a week then you are entitled to four days at half the daily fee.
CCS - Child Care Subsidy
Child Care Benefit is a subsidy provided by the Commonwealth Government to approved long day child care centres, family day care schemes and occasional care services. This subsidy is then used to reduce the amount that parents are required to pay to the centre.
What to pack
What do I need to pack in my child's bag?
- Complete spare set of clothes, training pants if toileting.
- Items the toddler is attached to, ie. Dummy, teddy bear, etc.
- If your child is settling a family photo is very comforting.
- If your child uses a different formula to the S26 we provide, then please supply the preferred formula.
There is now clear evidence that childhood nutrition has a lasting effect on many aspects of health. Children need fresh, nutritional food and well balanced meals.
At Play and Learn Crestmead our cook provides delicious meals each day. The centre cook will provide a wonderful range of different nutritionally balanced foods for all age groups and allergies and food intolerances are managed easily and individually.
The service will provide all sunscreen.
Security Cameras across the service ensure everyone’s safety and can only be viewed by the service Director and Licensee Julie Watts.
